3 celery sticks

2 Carrots

¼ cup yellow split peas

Garlic 2 cloves

2 cups water

1 cube vegetable stock

1 tbs Olive oil

1 tsp ginger powder.


Chop your carrot, onion, celery and garlic.

_AAA0554Add the olive oil to a saucepan and sauté the onion for a few minutes.

Add the garlic for a minute and then the vegetables.

Add your water, split peas, stock and ginger spice and cover until you reach a boil.

Lower the heat to simmer and cook for 45 minutes or until split peas are cooked.

A quick, easy and healthy chocolate fix. This is one of my favourite go to post exercise smoothies.


1 Banana frozen

½ an Avocado

1 tbs Cacao powder

½ cup Soy milk

_AAA0591Pour the soy milk into the blender and add the remaining ingredients.

_AAA0589Process to a thick liquid and consume immediately for maximum nutrient value.

Rockmelon & Mint Smoothie

This is a delicious light way to start your day with a hint of fresh mint and packed full of nutrients.


¾ cup Rockmelon

½ cup Soy Milk or Almond milk

½ tsp Spirulina

1 tbs Fresh Mint
_AAA0571Chop your rockmelon into small chunks and add to the blender with all your ingredients.

Blend until everything is combined.

Serve with a little garnish of fresh mint.
